Summary: Can't believe I'm giving Norton 5 stars
Comment: I became very anti-Norton over the past few years. It seemed like their products got slower and slower with more crashes as each year passed. Norton 360 and Norton 360 v2 was a horrible buying mistake. I begrudgingly gave Norton Internet Security 2009 a try on a three year old Windows XP SP 3 system which I'd been cycling various free and paid for security products through over the past few years and I have been absolutely impressed with its speed and usability. It is the least intrusive suite I've ever used. They have really improved this product and after looking av-comparatives.org ratings of their scanning, I am convinced that Norton 2009 is going to be the product to beat this year.

This software installed easily, and has very little impact on system performance when scans are running. The network monitoring and other additional features are also a plus. I like this product much better than the McAfee software I had been using previously.

Comment: I highly recommend this product. It works well and does not slow down my computer. However, I am not sure that the product that I was shipped was OK. When I loaded it onto my computer, it shut down my ability to connect to the Internet. It took me five hours on the telephone with my Internet provider and Norton to fix my computer. The version of the software that I am now using was down loaded directly from Norton. I do not recommend buying any software from this supplier.
